itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>In der Altstadt, genau an dem Ort, wo sich einst das Forum Romanum befand, der heutigen Piazza della Erbe, ragt der Turm Torre dei Lamberti in die H\u00f6he.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Mit seinen 84 Metern und mit allen w\u00e4hrend der achthundert Jahre seines Bestehens erfolgten baulichen Ver\u00e4nderungen z\u00e4hlt der Turm zu den h\u00f6chsten Geb\u00e4uden von Verona.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Der Bau beginnt im Jahr 1172 auf Wunsch der adligen, geheimnisvollen Familie Lamberti, deren Spuren sich w\u00e4hrend der Jahrhunderte verloren haben. Der Turm weist den zur jenen Zeit typischen romanischen Baustil auf, bei dem abwechslungsweise Ziegelstein und Tuffstein verwendet wurde, was noch heute im unteren Bereich des Baus sichtbar ist.<br \/>\nDer Turm, der damals nur 37 Meter hoch war, wurde sp\u00e4ter Bestandteil des aufgrund der Verleihung des Stadtrechtes errichteten Ratspalasts. Nachdem er 1295 mit den beiden Glocken Rengo und Marangona ausgestattet worden war, wurde er fortan als \u201eTorre delle Campane\u201c bezeichnet.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Im Jahr 1403 zerst\u00f6rte ein Blitzeinschlag die Spitze des Turms, doch bereits 1448 begannen die Wiederaufbauarbeiten und die Aufstockung, die sechzehn Jahre sp\u00e4ter mit dem Einbau eines achteckigen Glockenstuhls aus Ziegelstein und wei\u00dfem Marmor abgeschlossen werden konnten.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Durch diese Erneuerung, die nicht die letzte sein sollte, erreichte der Turm mit noch anderem Erscheinungsbild die heutige H\u00f6he von 84 Metern. Im Jahr 1795 wurde der Bau n\u00e4mlich noch mit einer Uhr ausger\u00fcstet, die die nicht mehr funktionst\u00fcchtige Uhr des nahen Turmes Torre del Gardello ersetzte.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Seit 1972 ist der Turm f\u00fcr die \u00d6ffentlichkeit zug\u00e4nglich und kann bis zur ersten Panoramaebene hinaufsteigen, um einen unvergleichlichen Blick auf die Stadt und ihre Umgebung zu
