itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>Dans le centre historique de la ville, \u00e0 l\u2019emplacement de l\u2019antique forum romain, Piazza delle Erbe, s\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve la Tour des Lamberti.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Aujourd\u2019hui, avec ses 84 m\u00e8tres de hauteur, et avec les nombreuses modifications architecturales dont elle a fait l\u2019objet au cours de ses plus de huit cent ans d\u2019histoire, c\u2019est l\u2019\u00e9difice le plus haut de V\u00e9rone.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Sa construction a commenc\u00e9 en 1172 par le vouloir de la noble et myst\u00e9rieuse famille Lamberti, dont nous ne poss\u00e9dons pas d&rsquo;informations pr\u00e9cises. Le style roman, typique de cette \u00e9poque fut choisi pour sa construction, en briques altern\u00e9es au tuf, encore visibles dans la partie basse de la construction.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>La tour, qui \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque mesurait 37 m\u00e8tres, fut int\u00e9gr\u00e9e au \u00ab\u00a0Palazzo del Consiglio\u00a0\u00bb, b\u00e2ti avec l\u2019av\u00e8nement de la Commune Libre. Munie en 1295 de deux cloches, la Rengo et la Marangona, elle fut appel\u00e9e la \u00ab\u00a0Tour aux Cloches\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>En 1403 la foudre en abattit le sommet, et ce n\u2019est qu\u2019en 1448 que commenc\u00e8rent les longs travaux de restauration et d\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9vation qui s\u2019achev\u00e8rent seize ans plus tard par l\u2019ajout du beffroi octogonal en briques et marbre blanc.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>La tour atteignit ainsi les 84 m\u00e8tres actuels de hauteur, mais ne poss\u00e9dait pas encore l\u2019aspect qu\u2019elle a de nos jours.<br \/>\nCe n\u2019est qu\u2019en 1795 qu\u2019elle fut enfin dot\u00e9e de l&rsquo;horloge, pour remplacer celle de la tour voisine du Gardello qui avait cess\u00e9 de fonctionner.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>La tour est ouverte au public depuis 1972, et l\u2019on peut monter jusqu\u2019au clocher pour admirer une vue imprenable sur la ville et ses
